Review: I watched this movie when I was a pre-teen at the cinema, and I! It really blew me away. It gets my adrenaline pumping hard that I almost want to slip back to my place and take a gander! Although this time I did not really understand most of the (too young to understand), I was immersed in such a rich story and a great alien. Tensely atmospheric deposition and spacecraft grip so tight, it seems, never let the stones go.This movie, scare you right to your face, very mysterious, there are tons of special effects (CGI though not quite, but a mechanical alien look so dangerous and scary). James Cameron is a great story teller in this Sci-Fi Star! The film is over 2 hours, but I do not feel that at all. In fact, James has cut a lot of scenes in the theatrical release at the time, but you can still get this look on DVD (in addition to 17 minutes of video). Acting is good, especially from Sigourney Weaver, Paul Reiser and Lance Henriksen (as robots). Sigourney Ripley is so strong-willed woman who embarrassed even men (somehow I think it's pretty amazing, because he's got so much energy, especially in the scene where he gets back to Queens hatches to keep Newt). I watched the other series of alien (Alien legacy - all four parts), but I can tell you part 2 of this series is my favorite, followed by foreign companies, Alien: Resurrection, and finally, Alien3) I am very happy to see this film remained high in one of the Sci-Fi IMDB movie) So far as an adult, I still come back to watch them now and every time I watch it again, it brings a whole new scandal, and new ideas, and new meaning of what a horror movie! Highly recommended if you havent watched this. I give it 8 out of 10! (Indeed eligible high IMDb rating 8.2-to-date) |
