Review: Feelings before seeing a plane was not sure how it was going to turn out a certain feeling. On the one hand, there was hope that Disney (or Disney Toon Studios to be precise) will continue to develop the trend back in the 2009s began with the Princess and the Frog, who later saw good movies with Sali-thick (their best film of The Hunchback of Notre Dame ) and destroy it ralph, Winnie the Pooh is also very sweet. There was also the feeling of chills as well as reading a line plot gives the feeling that it would be predictable and dull. Regardless of any initial feelings, the only way to judge the plane, which was to see it. Sadly, the plane, which was very disappointing for the viewer and perhaps its weakest since Chicken Little. And this comes from someone who hopefully know how to judge a family movie, yes guys this is a family film is not a child there are things that will make good film.Planes works. The animation is the best aspect of any considerable distance, it is good, not the best ever but theres animation looks beautiful all the same. It manages to be colorful and well textured with a detailed background and well drawn characters. The corner of the room as well as the source of wonder, they are very well incorporated and really gives the feeling that you went into the air with the characters. The music is catchy, with a very good selection of songs, and serves the film very well, the mariachi version of Love Machine is a very pleasant and fun. The aviation at least proves that the writers did their research. The voice acting too is praiseworthy whole, with Dane Cook in particular voicing with enthusiasm. John Cleese, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss and Val Kilmer are acceptable too, although they have been deprived of better.Unfortunately plane is one of those films where it starts slow and there is no hope, and never really takes off, sorry could not resist as well. The story just did not have any spark, the story is predictable and sluggish pacing and quiet. The person who said this is only one car in the air with a touch of Top Gun, Jay Jay the Jet Plane and The Ugly Duckling story, and that is true, it is highly derivative movie that makes a bigger problem without mention of surprise or prejudice. Script lacks the freshness, beauty and understanding, rather than its full of worn down, talk-time, one-transatlantic and tired joke (crazy like firefox for example) and no emotional impact. The air-force/aviation jargon can go over young heads as well. The love between Dusty and Ishani comes across as a cliché? be poorly developed, almost as afterthought. The characters are annoyingly shallow, Dusty was not so bad, but the other part is not very interesting, and their development is thin, Skippers back story especially felt shoe-horned in and forced. From Chupacabra has its moments but is stereotyped character (something that people can take a dislike to) and too many of his jokes are lame. In fact there are a lot of cultural stereotypes, and many of them I border on insensitive. The villain is stereotypically Ripslinger also designed and is probably one of the blandest Disneys villains, with some of the most annoying and unnecessary goons of any animated film in recent memory. The action looks great animation but failed to generate any excitement, much of it suffers from too much predictability and the pacing is very quiet throughout. In conclusion, from a really terrible movie or the great expense of planes made it out to be disappointingly sluggish but one where its easy to see that a plane has been criticized. Then again this is a personal opinion and take a pinch of salt, rather than being discarded for being an opinion different to your own. 4/10 Bethany Cox |
