Review: When I first walked into the film, my expectations were not very high. The first two films, I thought they were the best series mainly due to Richard Harris dead on description of Dumbledore and screenplays that followed the original books. While the third and fourth films were very artistic and dramatic, I can really connect with them including vi as I had books. They cover a lot of little things that made the Harry Potter series so fascinating in the first place, focusing on select plot lines, Di and restrict the menu to only what was necessary to the story. Therefore, they felt more like a collage of scenes, a series of puzzle pieces, throwing the audience more quickly than they can piece together, just the way i until the final confrontation. Rhythm certainly been an issue, so fans feel disjointed, and new to the series confused about what exactly is happening. In this context, a series of Phoenix was very similar to the two previous films. As Hollywood movie deserves praise, bringing this extraordinary world to the big screen, telling a compelling story, and keep the state ends glued to their seats during the movie. While die hard fans of the books, you'll probably be disappointed. Scenes think many priceless scene was cut, changed fastest mile in the plot holes. And while it pains me to ignore some of my favorite scenes from the book to the left on the cutting room floor (St Mungo quibble interview Harry, Quidditch fire, etc.), I realize that yes, not everything can be included in the film. But this watered down version of the book, there seems to be something missing. Still have the drama and tension, but some of the magic just seems to be gone. Aside from Evans were (Couldnt made more perfect Luna), the kids simply give average yield never reach their full potential presented by JK Rowling writing. The same goes for Gambon, who seems to calm ignored, everyone knows, endearing idea that Dumbledore is friendly, yet powerful headmaster more erratic. Sure, works well in most dramatic scenes (particularly the final battle), but otherwise, his performance falls flat, lacking eye twinkling charm we came to love from the late Richard Harris. Fortunately, Imelda Staunton more than makes up for this amazing description of Dolores Umbridge, one of the characters most fully realized in the film. As the rest of the cast, which mainly hit or miss, depending on how each scene is written. Overall I would definitely recommend the film to everyone, fan or not, it was really well done film, including actors Despite little wooden and bad dialog. But when you look at the books, one really can not help but think how much more potential this movie couldve had. |
